BEHIND THE SCENES
Working with kids is one of the biggest benefits of this work! Maya was a beaming example of how alive and excited children are when they’re engaging in something they love. In this short film portrait you’ll find Maya to be genuinely expressive about her love of horsemanship and very comfortable with the process of being filmed.
We spent the day on the farm with Maya and her trainer walking through the pastures getting to know the different horses. Maya was definitely in her element as she ran around with and groomed her favorite “beasts” (as she calls them 
).
Maya was proud of the film we created together and her parents were absolutely thrilled! They will always be able to remember this stage of her life and be able to listen to their daughter’s young voice as and feel her authentic joyfulness.
